How to Clean an LCD TV

Eric and I recently splurged on a brand new 32-inch LCD TV after a year of making do with a twenty-year-old hand-me-down 13-inch set with fake wood paneling on the sides. We were, as you can probably imagine, excited. So we got it home, carefully attached it to the stand, transferred it to the top of a bookcase, stood back, and saw…fingerprints. A week later, it was coated with a fine layer of dust and cat hair. It was, without a doubt, time for me to learn how to clean an LCD TV. Safely, you know, so as not to ruin this thing we spent several hundred dollars on. Turns out, cleaning an LCD TV is not as difficult or expensive as you might expect. All the details are in my new article.

Get Rid of Hairloss

There are armies of lab-coated, Ivy League graduates working tirelessly in secret underground labs to solve the problem as we speak. No, I’m not talking about global warming. These scientists are working on how to stop hair loss, which,  though untold millions would celebrate the day a cure is found, isn’t even classified as a disease. One doesn’t lose strength, youth, or virility with hereditary hair loss. What is lost is a person’s sense of well being and self-confidence. Unfortunately, there is a finite number of real solutions out there, but an unending ocean of products and services. Don’t give false hope to unproven solutions - read my latest article to find out the real pathways to a thicker head of hair.

How to Clean Hardwood Floors

I never knew the simple pleasure of wood floors growing up; however, I did become well acquainted with the displeasure of carpeting. Getting an occasional third-degree burn, seeing my dad’s wrathful vein surface across his temple as he eyed an awful stain, trying to extricate a sloppy pile of Golden Retriever feces from a carpet that was initially in no way brown - these are my fond memories of the stuff. The first thing I did when I moved was to expose the beautiful maple which once graced the home. After a few months of heavy traffic and sock-sliding competitions, I realized I didn’t know how to clean hardwood floors. To my surprise, it wasn’t at all difficult. I figured it would be a complex operation - that there wood be a tortuous yin to my floor’s charming yang. Sure, you may have to refinish now and then, but the normal upkeep of hardwood floors is an easy task. Read my latest article to learn how to clean hardwood floors quickly and safely.

Get Rid of Bad Credit

Planning on buying a car or house in the near future, or renting an apartment, applying for a credit card, or getting any kind of insurance? I would recommend that you repair that bad credit first, as it will greatly influence the interest rate you receive - that is if you receive anything at all.  Credit scores were designed to help lenders make accurate, unbiased decisions when lending, so if you were to walk into a bank for a $150,000 loan wearing nothing but stained tighty whities and a sleeveless shirt sporting the credo “Born to Kill”, you couldn’t cry foul. Let’s say that you receive that loan, stains and all. If you have a score at the lower end of the spectrum, you’ll end up paying at least $100,000 more than someone with  great credit over a 30 year period. As you can see, having bad credit is a life-changing problem, and so, in my latest article, I detail exactly how someone can take control of their financial future and get rid of bad credit.

Get Rid of Back Pain

null

I don’t have a problem with back pain, but my fiancé does. The poor guy’s back is like one of those topographical maps with ridges stamped into the paper where the mountains are. And it’s a map of a mountainous region. Not long ago, we brought home the World’s Most Expensive Bed, hoping it would help, and it did. Sort of. But it turns out getting rid of back pain isn’t just a matter of buying a new bed. The back is a complicated machine, and taking care of it properly means taking care of all the parts, all the time. Lately I’ve been researching how to get rid of back pain to help my fiancé, and I figured I might as well help you while I was at it. That’s just the kind of girl I am. So if your back hurts, you should check out my latest article.

How to Clean Gold

I recently received an engagement ring made, as tradition would have it, of diamonds in a gold band. After the initial excitement of the proposal, I experienced a few ridiculous moments during which I was afraid to actually wear the ring because I knew wearing it would quickly spoil the perfectly smooth shine of the new gold. Dust and oils from my skin would get on it, and it would get dull. I’m wearing it anyway, of course, and I can see it gradually collecting a little bit of dirt and oil. But I’m not worried anymore, because I know that cleaning gold can be a quick, easy, and inexpensive process. My latest article, appropriately titled How to Clean Gold, shows exactly how to do it. Take a look.
