There are about 260 species of stink bug in the family Pentatomidae that can be commonly found in North America, just over a dozen of which are frequently reported inside of homes each year. Many of the members of this family have scent glands which emit a noxious odor as a defensive agent against predators. The stink bugs can be quite large: anywhere from 1/6 to one inch in length. As winter draws near, these bugs have a tendency to find their way into homes, looking for a place to hide. In the article How to Get Rid of Stink Bugs, I break down the best ways to get rid of them during different times of the year. There are industrial recommendations as well as some natural alternatives for getting rid of the stink bugs in your garden or home. Read the full article for yourself and get rid of your stink bugs.

I have a bad habit of doing bad things to my body. I smoke cigars (among other things), drink beer and bourbon, eat red met, eat chips and other processed crap, drink soda, and love it. My body, however, does not. And every now and then it lets me know it’s time to take a step back from the things I love and take on the task of detoxing my system. In all actuality, it’s not too bad. Some aspects of cleaning your system are great. You get to eat delicious foods and drink tasty juices. And after you cleanse your system, you feel great. The problem you might run into is that you may not know how to flush your system properly. Luckily for you, through years of abuse and a bunch of research, I’ve learned how to clean out system impurities pretty effectively. If you would like to know how to clear your system out, check out my latest article: How to Clean Your System.
Apparently, and for reasons unbeknownst to me, people absolutely detest the chore of cleaning blinds. I certainly don’t love the task, but I wouldn’t call it detestable. If you have to clean blinds, you have to clean blinds. It’s just one of those things. In fact, it can be kinda fun. Especially if they are dusty enough that you can write little childish messages into the dust like “poop” or “your momma” before washing it all away. Actually, I think the biggest reason people don’t like doing it is that they simply don’t know how to clean blinds properly. And of course, that is why you’re here. Cleaning window blinds is actually quite easy. It takes a little time, but it’s easy. I think, once you get going on it, that you’ll be surprised at how forgiving some types of blinds (mini blinds, venetian blinds, vertical blinds) can be. Well, lets get started then. Check out my article: How to Clean Blinds.
Plastic, invented in the mid 1800’s, has become part of our everyday lives. The stuff is absolutely everywhere. A person can’t even fart without having the fumes come into contact with something made of or with plastic. While in some ways I am morally opposed to plastic (the amount of time it takes for the stuff to biodegrade is frightening), there are some undeniable benefits to the stuff. Besides that, it ain’t going anywhere. So, in the interest of convincing people to keep their plastic pieces around for awhile instead of just tossing them in the dumpster and buying new ones, I’ve put together this article. It’s actually surprisingly easy to clean plastic. With a little time and patience, cleaning plastic can be done from home using things you’ve probably got already. So, if you’re ready to learn how to wash plastic, check out my article How to Clean Plastic.
Bacne, or back acne, is a problem many of us deal with. Bacne is difficult to get rid of, but you can get rid of it if you know how to do it. While there are many over-the-counter acne medications, there are cheap, natural remedies to get rid of bacne that you can find in your own home. One natural remedy for bacne is witch hazel. Other natural acne and bacne remedies are listed in my latest article. Another not-so-natural but cheap bacne treatment is using Cetaphil Antibacterial Bar Soap, which is available at most drug stores. Along with using bacne and acne products, you can get rid of bacne by keeping your back clean and fresh. To do this, considering washing your clothing and sheets frequently, showering regularly and cutting down on the use of hair products. To find out more information, read my latest article: How to Get Rid of Bacne.
I know a thing or two about how to clean walls. The two worst experiences I’ve had with dirty walls both occurred while I was renting apartments up in Bemidji MN. The first these, when we moved in, aside from having little nasty dirty hand prints all over hell, was also riddled with spit balls. I did my wall cleaning in that building wearing a dust mask, a wide brimmed hat, and rubber gloves. It was disgusting. The other place I lived in that suffered from a severe lack of any clean wall surfaces was just a few blocks away and had what appeared to be poop smears on the bedroom wall. I would like to believe they were paint smears, but I can’t. It washed off too easily. When it comes to cleaning walls in apartments, those two were definitely the worst. But pretty much every place I’ve lived in (current apartment excluded) has required me to put my knowledge of how to clean painted walls to use. If you would like to know how to clean walls and how to wash walls…please…check out this article.

Gingivitis is a mild form of gum disease, and it is very common. In fact, most of the population will experience the bleeding, tender gums and bad breath of gingivitis at some point in life. Because it is so common, people assume it isn’t a big deal. Well, left unchecked, gingivitis will turn into a more severe form of gum disease. Your teeth will start to move around until they leap from your mouth in disgust. Your breath will become so rancid, not even your dog will kiss you, and he drinks from the toilet, passionately licks his anus…etc. What’s more, having gingivitis puts you at a much higher risk of stroke and heart attack. Fortunately, it isn’t that hard to get rid of gingivitis and reverse any damage done. Read my latest article on how to get rid of gingivitis, or risk dying toothless and alone.

If you’ve come to this page, you probably already know that you can’t get rid of eczema. Not yet anyway. What you can do is keep the disease in remission by taking care of your skin and avoiding eczema triggers. Many people who do this hardly ever have to deal with the pain and frustration of eczema flare-ups. Scales, redness, burning, flaking, scaling, and worst of all, the terrible itching - these eczema symptoms are more than enough motivation. Though I’ve never experienced it, the itching is said to be supernatural, and scratching that itch (which can lead to prolonged, horrific breakouts) is supposedly gloriously, wickedly satisfying. When you do experience an eczema breakout, there are many research-based methods to suppress the itching and return the skin back to health. Read my latest article on how to get rid of eczema to learn the latest treatments used to fight this disease.
I have some severe problems when it comes to shoes. I love them…way too much. I, without question, have way more shoes than my wife does. And I’m a guy. But hey, I’m proud of it. Shoes don’t just keep your feet nice and safe and comfortable, they also look good. And let me tell you, I know how to keep them looking good. I can clean shoes like nobodies business. In fact, if I were to have an Indian name it would probably be: He Who is Always Cleaning Shoes. OK. I’m not always doing it. But when the need arises for me to clean my shoes, I can do it, and do it well. Whether you are looking to clean white shoes, clean leather shoes, clean suede shoes, clean canvas shoes or even to clean satin shoes, I’ve got you covered. Check out this page and learn how to clean your shoes.
There are many ways to get rid of paper. But there are even ways to get rid of paper that don’t involve sneaking onto private property and throwing paper away into somebody else’s dumpster, Arlo Guthrie-style. If you can recall, it didn’t work well for him. The first, and best, three ways to get rid of paper are to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Any amount of paper intake that you can get rid of is a good thing, and better for your household clutter and the environment. Reduce paper clutter by switching to electronic bill paying, electronic statements, and electronic correspondence instead of wasting paper. Reuse paper in any way you see fit, such as making paper crafts, scrapbooking, lining a rodent cage, gardening, or training a puppy. Recycling is another easy way to get rid of paper. After that, you can choose to shred paper to get rid of it, use paper in some sort of art, or simply organize paper away. Using a file cabinet may not actually get rid of paper, but by sorting, organizing, and properly storing it, it feels as if you’ve gotten rid of paper.
