Many people think that wearing a wristwatch is old fashioned, especially these days when everyone has a cell phone. As for me, I never wore one because I could never find one that I liked. That was until I got older. It was then that I realized I had just been looking in the wrong place. For pretty much everything. I had a friend who worked at a jewelry shop, and it was at this jewelry shop that I saw the first watch I had ever coveted. It was expensive, even with the Friends & Family Discount. But, you see, I have expensive taste, but it’s not like it was a Rolex or anything. Regardless, I caught a lot of grief from my parents. It’s funny how your parents can still say something to you that makes you feel like a little kid. Maybe not funny ha ha, but funny sad. I have been using the lever-action Marlin 30-30 for 15 years now, and it is still in great shape as you will see from the pictures - once you read the article. I don’t know if it’s just my gun, but these puppies are heavy. I got my first 30-06 this year and that thing is way lighter than this. I think it’s the weight of this gun that appeals to me. Its projectile will plow through brush, whereas it seems the 30-06 can be deflected by the tiniest things, like a leaf for example. But they are both tools, both with an intended purpose, and both must be clean in order to perform properly, so let’s get to cleaning the lever-actioned rifle.

While we should all be most pleased that our skin has evolved with such an efficient way to keep itself clean, waterproofed and relatively free of infection, we aren’t. Many of us, despite how efficient they are, harbor a great desire to get rid of pores. For us, you see, it seems the main purpose of pores is to sit there on our faces, collect as much crap as they possibly can, and try to out-compete neighboring pores in an arms race to see who can appear to be the largest and most feared of all pores. Big pores are, in the most simplest of terms, a pain in the ass. They’re quite noticeable, clog easily, and make us self conscious. Thus, getting rid of big pores, or at least reducing their appearance, becomes a priority.
